Alinda Poole

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alinda Christine Poole, who left us on July 12, 2025, just shy of her 50th birthday. Born on July 16, 1975, in Korea, Alinda was a vibrant spirit who made her home in Dundalk, MD.

Alinda was a loving mother to her daughters, Ananda and Tyra Poole, her son, Averie Brown (son to Rashad Brown), and step mother to Finley and Grace Fitzpatrick and Rashad Brown Jr. As a devoted grandmotherAlinda's joy knew no bounds as she spent time with her grandsons, James and Allen Weimer, and granddaughter, Azazel Heller. She leaves behind her loving mother, Un Suk Kirk and her late father Tommie Kirk, her second mom Danuta Gedowski, her sisters Joanna Gedowski, Sarah Hall, Lena Gedowski, the late Lily Ann Kirk, and her brother Patrick Gedowski. Mother in law to Kendael Corbin. Alinda also cherished her nieces and nephews: Cierra Johnson, Alexia Chambers, Nataya Chambers, Brandon Chambers, and Xavier Chambers.

Alinda was known for her warm heart, blunt honesty, and a loud, lively spirit that made everyone around her feel alive. With a camera always at the ready, she had a passion for photography that allowed her to capture the precious moments shared with family and friends. Her advice, "If you can't be anything, be kind," was a guiding principle in her life.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk from 2:00- 6:00 pm.

Alinda's legacy of kindness, her vibrant personality, and her unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made out to the American Cancer Society .
