We are saddened to announce the passing of Alvin Dorsey Lloyd Sr., who left us peacefully on March 25, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on August 27, 1936, in Maryland.

Alvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary E. Lloyd. Loving father to Katheryn Wimple, Michael Lloyd (Tina), Alvin D. Lloyd Jr., (Donna Benton), Denise Lindt (Craig), Cindy Pizanis (Nicholas), and the late Marie Lloyd and Jerry Lloyd Sr. (Debbie). Cherished grandfather to Stacey, Haley, Blake, Lisa, Eric, Ashley, Randy, Shane, Josh, Samantha, Dimitris, Amylia, and Jerry Jr., as well as a proud great grandfather. He also leaves behind his sister Thelma Toomey along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family.

A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday March 29, 2026 from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held the following day on Monday March 30th at 10:00 am. Followed by a graveside service at Meadowridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge 21075.

Alvin lived a full and vibrant life, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
