It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna G. Bracken, a beloved mother, stepmother, and cherished friend, who left us on February 10, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 29, 1936, in Pennsylvania.

Anna was the beloved wife to Gerald Charles Bracken. A dedicated mother to Pamela Joy Sowards (late husband Dennis), Dorothy Ann Barnes, Cynthia Marie Smith (husband Richard), and the late Jeffrey Donald Parsons. She also welcomed two stepchildren, Heidi Wallace and Gregory Bracken into her heart. Loving grandmother to Matthew Parsons (wife Kelly), Nicholas Barnes (wife Vanessa), Steven Smith, Amber Sowards, Amanda Sowards, and Justin Morton. Great Grandmother to Deserea Mendez, Madisen Kepich, Samantha Barnes, Lily Barnes, Benny Freitag and Amelia Parsons. She is additionally survived by step grandchildren, loving family and friends.

Anna held a love for reading romance novels, playing card games like Solitaire and Rummy, and solving crossword and word search puzzles. She was also a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Blast. Anna found companionship and cherished memories with her adorable dog, HoneyBee. 

To celebrate Anna's life, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Monday February 16, 2026 from 10:00-12:00 pm with a funeral service starting at 12 noon. Followed by a graveside at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Baltimore, 21206.

Anna will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. Rest in peace.
