In Loving Memory of Anna Marie Cook

Anna Marie Cook, a beloved wife, stepmother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 70. Born on June 23, 1953, in Maryland to Anna Hopka and the late William Hopka, Anna was a lifelong resident of Sparrows Point, MD.

Anna had a zest for life. She had a passion for boating and fishing, finding solace and peace on the waters surrounding Millers Island. Anna also had a green thumb and loved spending time tending to her beautiful garden, where she nurtured an array of colorful flowers and plants. Most of all, she cherished family gatherings, where she ensured love, laughter, and cherished memories were shared with her loved ones.

Anna Marie Cook leaves behind her loving husband, Alvin Cook Jr., and her stepsons Shawn and Ryan Cook. She will be deeply missed by her treasured mother, Anna Hopka, and her siblings Veronica Carpenter, Brenda Hopka, Bill Hopka, Raymond Hopka, and Johnny Hopka. Anna's legacy will also be carried on through her grandchildren, Clark and Terra Cook, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

To honor and celebrate Anna's life, a funeral service will be held on October 16, 2023, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, beginning at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, family and friends are invited to a public viewing at the funeral home on October 15, 2023, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Following the funeral service, Anna will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery on German Hill Road in Dundalk, MD, her final resting place. The graveside service will take place on October 16, 2023, at 12:00 pm.

Anna Marie Cook touched the lives of many with her warm heart, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and devotion.
