It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Apostolos Gianis, who departed this life on September 10, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on November 14, 1979, in New York.

Apostolos was a cherished husband to Eleni Gianis and a devoted father to his five children: Eleftheria, Maria, Elena, Dafni, and George Gianis. He was also a loving brother to his sister, Alexandra Gianis (husband Marinos Stavrou), and a proud uncle to his nieces, Labrini and Demetra Stavrou. He is survived by his father, Georgios Kaltsogiannis, and his mother, Eleftheria Skargani, who will forever hold him in their hearts. 

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Tuesday September 15, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday September 16, at 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore 21224.
