Benjamin DeFelice

Benjamin Guy DeFelice, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Baltimore, MD on May 12, 2025 at the age of 92. He was born to the late Luigi and Anna on October 13, 1932.

He is the beloved husband of Joyce DeFelice (nee Kellner), devoted father of Sheree, Benjamin Jr. and his wife Kim, Trisha and her husband Rick, and Louis. Benjamin, fondly known as Pop-Pop, also cherished his grandchildren Shannon, Brandon, Morgan, Kirsten, Jenna, Brent, Lacey, Gabriella, Ricky, Giovanna, Hunter and Ava. He is also the great-grandfather of Rhyan, Kayden, Landon, Meyer and Mycah.

An avid musician, he played the keyboard with the band "High Five," sharing his passion for music and bringing joy to countless audiences. His love for music was matched only by his talent as an excellent cook. His Italian heritage was also particularly important to him. In addition to his many talents, Benjamin exemplified the spirit of perseverance, playing softball until his late 70s with the Dundalk Seniors, showcasing his vibrant energy and zest for life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Benjamin's life at a public viewing held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday May 15, 2025, from 2-8 PM. A funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Fatima, 6400 E Pratt Street, on Friday May 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road.
