It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Bienert, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Betty, born on July 22, 1946, in Maryland, peacefully departed this world on January 17, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by the warmth of her memories and the love of those she cherished.

Betty found her greatest joy in her family. She is the wife of the late Jeffrey Bienert. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Lisa Hughes, and son-in-law Gene, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Brian Hughes, Kaitlyn Hughes, Corona Anderson-Chiple, and Grace Hill. She was also the proud mother of her late daughter, Amy Anderson.

Betty had a passion for gardening, often finding joy in nurturing the plants and flowers that brightened her yard. She loved animals and cherished the simple pleasures of life, especially days spent at the beach. Her laughter and kind spirit will be missed by many relatives, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Betty's life and legacy at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM followed by a funeral service.

Betty's light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us of the beauty in love, laughter, and cherished moments.
