Beulah Edna Oxendine

Beulah Edna Oxendine was born on November 4th, 1936 in Colton, WV. She went home to be with the Lord on November 8th, 2020.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents: Gerald and Laura Mills and Three Children: Randy Tyler, Jimmy Tyler & Doris Locklear.

Edna leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband: Robert "Doc" Oxendine. Five sons: Kahn Locklear, Billy Mills, Ricky Tyler, Rusty Tyler and Larry Hunt. One Daughter: Vicky Tyler and One Adopted daughter: Chris Fields. Two grand-daughters that she raised as her very own: Terica and Alesha. Twenty One grand children and twenty four great grand children. Two special life friends: Millie Hunt and Janice Maynor and her very Best friend Linda Cox.

Edna worked at Levenson & Klein, Polock Johnnys, Belt & Buckle factory and SECU / LIFT. She was a member of South Broadway Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the WMU and loved her duty as a Deacon's wife. She loved to entertain and talk to her friends on the phone for hours and going out to eat.

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday 9:30 am at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Robert Hunt. Interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
