It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Sue Pugh, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, who departed this life on December 2, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 23, 1956, in Maryland, Brenda lived her life with unwavering compassion, kindness, and an innate ability to comfort those around her.

Brenda was a remarkable housewife, who dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She found joy in the simplest of moments-whether it was spending afternoons with her beloved puppies, getting lost soap operas, or enjoying weekend shopping trips with her son. Brenda shared a special bond with her husband, Rodger, as they cheered on their favorite football teams together.

She effortlessly embraced the role of a mother, opening her heart and home to anyone in need, including her son's friends and family members visiting from afar. It was not uncommon for individuals to affectionately refer to her as "Mom" or "Momma," as her love knew no boundaries. Her children and grandchildren were the lights of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Brenda's unwavering empathy and strength were the cornerstone of her nature. She radiated warmth, and her presence was a source of comfort to all who knew her. Her friends on Facebook were also dear to her, as she loved sharing her life and connecting with others online.

A truly wonderful soul, Brenda found happiness in the happiness of others. As we prepare to say our goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever live on in our hearts. There will be a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We will honor her memory with a funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Avenue 21224.

Brenda Sue Pugh will be laid to rest with love and reverence, as we allow the chariot to take her home. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever be etched in our hearts.
