Brian Balcer

Brian Charles Balcer, 40 of Canton, Maryland passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 21, 2024.

Brian was born on February 18, 1984, and is the beloved son of Charles and Donna Balcer, dear brother of Stephen Balcer and his wife Clare, and Rachel Balcer. He leaves behind the love of his life, Amber Tupaj, and their dog Pearl. Brian is the grandson of the late Louis and Betty Pilachowski, John Balcer, and is survived by Marlene and Ellis Shiflett. He is also survived by many loving, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

Brian attended Villa Julie College and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He was employed at Kelly Benefits as a Senior Account Manager. Brian was a devoted and proud employee for 17 years.

Brian loved and cherished his family. Everyone who knew him knew he lived life to the fullest. He made so many wonderful friends through work, and playing basketball and football for C. Milton Wright High School. Brian enjoyed playing video games, golfing, and going to the beach. He was a loyal fan of the Ravens, Orioles, and the Maryland Terrapins. He loved his Country and the American Flag.

A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Thursday June 27, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Casimir Church on Friday June 28th at 10:00am. 

Brian will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. His memory will live in our hearts forever! Goodbye is not forever. Goodbye is not the end. It simply means we will miss you until we meet again.
