Catherine Lorraine Anderson

Born on May 18, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, Catherine Lorraine Anderson was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. She passed away on January 12, 2024, after a brief illness. She was 79 years old.

Her career as a crossing guard was a source of great pride, serving the community of Baltimore with unwavering dedication for 34 years. Her commitment to the safety of the students at General Wolfe Academy was unmatched, and she took great pride in her work.

Catherine's impact extended beyond her professional life. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love within her family. She was the beloved wife of William Anderson Sr., with whom she shared a deep and unbreakable bond. Together, they built a lifetime of cherished memories.

As a mother, Catherine was a source of unwavering support and love. Her children, Jennifer L. Anderson and William Anderson Jr. (and wife Melanie and her son Thomas Glace), were the center of her world. She guided them with compassion, instilled in them strong values, and shared in their joys and triumphs.

Catherine's role as a grandmother brought her immeasurable joy. Eric W. Anderson and Tyler C. Graham held a special place in her heart, and she showered them with affection, wisdom, and laughter. They will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved grandmother.

Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of love and close-knit family bonds.

In her free time, Catherine found solace in the notes of country music, with a particular fondness for George Strait. She embraced life's celebrations and treasured family gatherings, where her strong, independent, and outspoken nature shone brightly.
