Catherine McCartney

Catherine McCartney, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at her home in Rosedale, Maryland. Born on December 4, 1937, in Maryland, Catherine lived a life full of love, warmth, and nurturing spirit, which she shared with her family and friends.

She is survived by her cherished children, Mary Cipolla and her husband Tim, Jimmie McCartney, and the late Brenda Joy Weaver. Catherine was also a grandmother to her adored grandson, Antonio Cipolla. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jimmie McCartney, who held a special place in her heart.

Family and friends are invited to a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, where they will have the opportunity to pay their respects. A graveside service will follow the viewing in her honor at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Road.

Catherine McCartney will be laid to rest with the love and dignity she so deeply deserves, surrounded by the memories of a life devoted to her family and an unwavering spirit of love. She will be missed dearly, and her light will forever shine in the lives she touched.
