Charles "Chris" Sanders

My beloved father, Charles (Chris) Boyd Sanders, born June 28, 1947, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2022, at his home in Perry Hall, Maryland. He was proceeded in death by his Father, Jack Grimes Sanders, his mother Lillie Josephine Sanders, and his brother Richard. He was 75 years old. He graduated from Parkville High School in 1965. He served as a Lance Corporal for the Unites States Marine Corp from 1965 – 1970 in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home he became a Long Shoreman for Dundalk Marine Terminal where he worked for 51years. Chris leaves behind his daughter, Dawn Hansen, son-in-law, Conan Hansen, and two grandchildren, Elizjah and Alexander Shue. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Saturday, September 10th from 10 AM- 11AM. A memorial service will begin at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to K9s for Warriors.
