It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Henry Raynor, who left this world on June 5, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on December 31,1945, Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose legacy will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Kathryn Raynor, whose memory he cherished until his passing. He is survived by his dedicated daughters, Sandra McCormick and her husband Patrick, and Debra Russell and her husband Bryan. His heart was especially full when he was surrounded by his grandchildren, Kylie McCormick and Katelyn Russell, who brought him immense joy and pride. Charles is additionally survived by his sister, Susan Haupt, and her husband, Dave.

Charles was a graduate of Sparrows Point High School's Class of 1963 before he spent over 30 years as a steamfitter with Local 486, where he was respected and admired for his hard work and commitment.

Charles was a proud member of VFW Post 2678 and the Balco Club. He thrived in the company of others, finding happiness in gatherings with family and friends. He also had a deep love for the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens and rarely missed a game all season long, faithfully cheering on his teams.

His compassionate spirit and generous heart will be remembered by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charles's life during a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, immediately following the service.

Charles's legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of his family and the many friends and extended family members whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. May he rest in peace.
