Christine Remmey

On May 21, 2025, Christine Marie Remmey (nee Sortino), passed away after a long, hard fought battle with illness. She was 62. A beloved paraeducator for many years in both Baltimore County & Texas, she will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor & her ability to always find joy & positivity in everything. Christine is survived by her daughters Amber & Kelly Squatrito & son Michael Squatrito. Christine is also survived by 10 grandchildren & her sister Paula Sortino. She was predeceased by her father Joseph in 2018 & her mother Sylvia in 2021.

In lieu of flowers her daughter Amber asks for you to donate to BARCS at https://www.barcs.org/donate in Christine's name. She absolutely adored her rescue cat Midge, who was adopted from BARCS in 2020.
