It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Demetrios Koutsantonis, who departed this life on April 8, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on August 12, 1935, in Greece, Demetrios was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Demetrios is survived by his beloved wife, Panagiota "Peggy" Koutsantonis, and their two sons, John and George Koutsantonis, along with George's wife, Irene. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Demetrios, Yianni, Panayiota, and Leah Koutsantonis. He is mourned by his siblings, Konstantinos Koutsantonis and Marina Alocoyianis, and extended family and friends who will remember him fondly.

Demetrios's life will be honored with heartfelt ceremonies. A public viewing will take place at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 520 Ponca Street, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. He will then be laid to rest in a graveside service at St. Demetrios Cemetery, 2504 Cub Hill Road.
