It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Despina "Debbie" Baris, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who departed this life on June 10, 2026, at the age of 63. Born in Greece on January 31, 1963, Debbie made her home in Maryland.

Debbie is survived by her three cherished children, three loving grandchildren, her mother, a sister and brother along with their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a selfless and caring individual, known for her fun-loving spirit and unwavering willingness to help others. Debbie's greatest joy came from her family, whom she loved deeply. Debbie held a special fondness for classic television, often finding joy in her favorite shows, particularly "I Love Lucy." Her warmth and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Public viewings will take place at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, allowing all who knew and loved Debbie to pay their respects. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Green Orthodox Church, 520 Ponca Street, followed by a graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Avenue.
