It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dewayne Albert MacDonald, 56, of Baltimore, Maryland, who left us on October 6, 2026. While our hearts ache from his loss, we find comfort in the love he shared, the laughter he brought into our lives, and the countless memories that will forever keep his spirit alive.

Born on May 4, 1970, in Pomona, California, Dewayne moved to Baltimore, Maryland, as a young child, where he would spend the remainder of his life building memories with those he loved.

Dewayne was a man with a kind heart and a playful spirit who always did his best to make sure the people he loved were comfortable, cared for, and had everything they needed. He had a way of showing his love through the little things, often putting the needs of those closest to him before his own. He never lost the childlike sense of humor that made him uniquely himself. Whether it was a corny joke, a silly noise, or an unexpected moment of goofiness, Dewayne always found a way to bring a little laughter into the room and keep life from feeling too serious. In many ways, he was a kid at heart, and that was part of what made him so special.

He found happiness in life's simple pleasures. Dewayne enjoyed taking walks, spending time outdoors treasure hunting with his metal detector, and relaxing with his favorite movies and television shows. Music was another passion of his, and he had always aspired to learn to play the guitar. He was also a devoted fan of his beloved Baltimore sports teams, the Ravens and the Orioles. Whether he was cheering on his teams, listening to his favorite music, searching for hidden treasures, or enjoying a quiet evening at home, Dewayne appreciated the little things that made life special.

Above all, Dewayne was a devoted husband, father, and brother. He leaves behind his loving wife, Roseann MacDonald; his son, Brandon MacDonald; and his twin brother, Wayne MacDonald. He is also lovingly remembered by his extended family, including numerous relatives whose lives he touched and who will forever cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Jaggy, who was much more than a pet and was truly a cherished member of the family.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

A memorial gathering will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk 21222 on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 12:00 pm. A memorial service honoring Dewayne's life will begin at 1:00 pm.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Dewayne's life.
