Dolores A. Durdock

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores A. Durdock, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on August 29, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on November 11, 1928, in Pennsylvania, Dolores was a long-time resident of Dundalk, Maryland, where she was cherished for her warm spirit and nurturing nature.

Dolores was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Durdock and is survived by her children Diane McDermott, Denise Murphy and her husband Jack, and daughter-in-law, Ruth Durdock and her late husband Anthony. She was the proud grandmother of Anthony Ellers and his wife Lisa, Dawn Brooks, Stephanie Parsons, Michael Durdock and his wife Helene, Matthew Durdock and his wife Rose, Christopher McDermott and his wife Anne, and the late Tina Murphy. In addition, she leaves behind thirteen great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy. Dolores was also blessed to have had the support and companionship of her caretaker and close friend, Janis Zuk.

The family will welcome friends for a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday, September 4th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A heartfelt funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.

Dolores's kindness and unwavering love will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew her. We invite all who loved her to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and the lasting impact she made in our lives.
