It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald E. Keegan, who left us peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on July 15, 1934, in New York. He proudly served in the Army, embodying the values of dedication and service that defined him.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Helen Keegan, and his six wonderful children-Jeanne Fuhrman, Paul Keegan, Erin Schroeder, Kelly Wallace (husband Scott), and Tracy Martin. He was a cherished grandfather to John Giese (Kim Hardeson), Matt Giese, Timothy, Rebecca, Ashley, Emma Schroeder, Lauren Taylor-Wright (Jen), Christopher Wallace, and Ryan Martin (Crystal). Donald was also a great-grandfather to Marcus, Mya, Chastity, Hope, Timmy, Aiden, and Jeremiah, and a great-great-grandfather to little Julian. Beloved brother to Dennis Zappone, and the late Sandy Sherman, Darlene Vantine, and Raymond Zappone. Cherised son to the late Anthony and Evelyn Zappone.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Donald's life at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Saturday March 7 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 5:00 PM.
