Dorothy Gloria Della Noce

Dorothy Gloria Della Noce, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, peacefully passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 83. She was born on October 3, 1940.

Throughout her life, Gloria touched the hearts of her family, friends, and those she encountered as a Teachers Assistant. She dedicated herself to shaping young minds and inspiring the future generations. Gloria also was an invaluable member of the community along with her husband Frank where they owned and operated Della Noce Funeral Home in Little Italy in Baltimore City (1940-2002)

 Gloria enjoyed spending quality time with her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a devoted wife to Frank Della Noce and a loving mother to her sons, Frank, Dean, and Darren. Gloria  was adored by her daughter-in-laws, Robin, Dawn, and Michele, and brought joy and happiness to her grandsons, Jacob, Brady, Mario, and Tyler. She was a proud sister to Bertha Weiss and Clara Hammond, and a cherished sister-in-law to George Hammond. Gloria was also pre deceased by 13 siblings.

Outside of her professional and family life, Gloria loved the excitement and thrill of playing slots at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She found solace in the serenity of their shore home and enjoyed spending time boating with her loved ones.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, where friends and loved ones can come to pay their respects and share in the memories of Gloria 's vibrant life.

A Mass will be celebrated in honor of Gloria 's life at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 12:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather as we bid farewell to our dear Gloria in a tribute befitting her significant contributions to the lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Gloria had a kind and generous heart, and supporting this important cause will continue her legacy of compassion and care towards children in need.

 Dorothy Gloria Della Noce will forever be remembered for her unwavering devotion, warm spirit, and boundless love. Her presence will be deeply missed, but she will be cherished in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

May she rest in eternal peace.
