Edgar J.
Woolfenden
September 11, 1956 – May 23, 2026
It is with heartfelt celebration that we announce the passing of Edgar J. Woolfenden Jr., a cherished husband, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on May 23, 2026. Edgar's journey was marked by love, passion, and a vibrant spirit that touched everyone he met.
Edgar was married to his beloved wife, Stephanie, for an incredible 40 years, a partnership filled with laughter and unwavering support. He was an exceptional singer, known for his powerful voice that resonated with warmth and joy. One of the highlights of his singing career was performing the national anthem at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
A lifelong lover of Western television shows and movies, Edgar found solace and joy in the stories of rugged cowboys and brave heroes. His enthusiasm extended to collecting swords, a testament to his adventurous spirit, and he proudly cheered on the Baltimore Ravens, celebrating every touchdown.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Stephanie Woolfenden; his loving sisters: Teresa Hershey, Janice Carrick, Patricia Stevens, and Roni Wehernberg. Each of them carries a piece of Edgar's large heart, and together they will celebrate the profound impact he had in their lives.
As we remember and celebrate Edgar's life may his legacy of joy continue to inspire us all.
