With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Alice Youngs, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on December 16, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on August 12, 1929, in New York.

Edna loved her family and loved the Lord. She was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed bowling back in the late '80s, In her free time, you could often find her working on crossword puzzles and word searches. She took immense joy in the company of her extended family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Youngs Sr. Loving mother to Richard Youngs Jr. (wife Joyce), Debra Youngs, Denise Crane (husband Alan), Louise Swedo (husband George), and Robert Youngs (wife Eileen Kuhl), Beloved Grandmother to Thomas Vaeth, Matthew Vaeth (wife Laura), Emilee Plumstead, Scott Swedo, Beckie Costello (husband Ryan), David Swedo (wife Tabitha), Richard Youngs III (wife Aubrey), Michael Youngs, Steven Youngs, and Joseph Youngs. Great Grandmother to Jillian, Elizabeth, Andrew, Isabella, Christopher, Matthew, Logan, Kaynen, Boedey, Bailey, and Mia. Edna also leaves behind her brothers, Robert Britton and Steven Britton, who will forever treasure the memories they created together.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
