Elizabeth Cohill

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Cohill, who departed this life peacefully on August 30, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on January 12, 1937, in New York, Elizabeth spent the majority of her life in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her warmth, kindness, and spirited love for life.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late William Cohill. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her cherished daughter Jennifer Sgroi and her husband Dominic, and her beloved grandsons, Justin and Nicholas Sgroi. Her home, where she resided for 50 years, was a testament to her commitment to family.

In addition to her family, Elizabeth found joy in the simple pleasures of life-whether it was spending carefree days at Ocean City, enjoying spirited outings at the casino, cheering on her favorite football team or sipping on a cup of coffee. These moments, though ordinary, were extraordinary in Elizabeth's heart, and they will remain cherished memories for all who knew her.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Elizabeth's life and legacy and to remember the joy she brought to all of us at a public viewing at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery following the service.
