Elizabeth Jean Rutkowski

"Bette" Rutkowski was born on March 31, 1933 as Elizabeth Jean Pfeil. She passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 90.

Bette leaves behind her husband of 69 years, Joseph Rutkowski Sr. Son Joseph Rutkowski Jr. (wife Debra) and her only grandson Christopher Rutkowski. Sister Patricia Weems (husband Ray Weems). Bette is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

Until about three years ago she was an entrepreneur owning and operating two businesses in Dundalk. Irene's Beauty Shop opened in 1958 and Rockinghorse Antiques opening in 1982. Bette was very well known in antique carousel circles for her restoration talents and her selling and trading carousel horses.

Bette loved people and met many throughout the country through her hobbies.
