Eunice "June" Hayes

Eunice ‘June’ Hayes was a loving, caring, supportive and devoted wife, mother, cherished grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. June passed away in the comfort of her home peacefully with her family, April 13th, 2022 at the age of 83.

June was born in Englewood, TN to the late Edward and Ersa Mason on October 26 th 1938. She was the beloved wife to the late William ‘Bill’ Hayes for 63 years, her daughters Barbara Kline and husband Norman, Ruth Long and husband Hayes, her grandchildren Jenn, Brock, Megan, Eric, Christina (who was raised by her grandparents from age 9) Christopher and Abby. June had 8 great grandchildren; Brittany, Landen, Addyson, Hunter, Chase, Anderson, Felicity June and Nova; her dear brother Les Mason and wife Mary (California), sister-in-law Nadine Barranco (Florida) and her many nieces and nephews. June is predeceased by her daughter Deborah Lemmon and grandson William Lemmon and her siblings; Shirley, Lou, Jeannette, Joyce, Linda and Eddie.

June settled in Maryland where she met the love of her life and worked and retired from Western Electric as a quality assurance and union representative. She dedicated her later life to caring of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. June instilled strong values into each and every one in her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Rest in ever lasting peace.

Family will receive visitors at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Tuesday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM. A funeral service celebrating June’s life will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
