Frank Beauford Harris, 97, passed away peacefully at his home on July 17, 2026. Frank was born in Hopewell, Virginia, one of nine children, and later moved with his family to Sparrows Point, Maryland. At just 15 years old, he joined the military, serving first in the Navy and later in the Army after being drafted. He was deployed to Korea asa rifleman. Following his return from Korea, Frank began a long and dedicated career with Bethlehem Steel, where he worked for 41 years. He made his home in Dundalk, where he lived for 68 years.

Frank was an avid bowler and golfer who also enjoyed camping, creating stained glasspieces, working on cars, tinkering, and fixing anything and everything. Most of all, hetreasured spending time with his family and friends. He was also a proud member of the VFW for more than 60 years and in 1995 served as a Post Commander. 

Frank is survived by his daughters, Hope Lynn Harris and Nancy Harris; his son, FrankHarris, and his wife, Fatima. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra KayHarris; his first wife, Barbara Edwards; and his wife, Jacquelyn Hetrick Harris.

A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Tuesday July 21, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 am on July 22nd, followed by a graveside service at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093.
