Fredericka Hughes

Fredericka Hughes (nee Heim), known as Freida, died April 6, 2021, just three days shy of her 91st birthday.

Freida was born on April 9, 1930 to parents William Heim and Minnie Heim. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Stephen Ellis Hughes Sr., and by three children; Stephen Hughes Jr. and his wife Jan Hughes, Frederick Hughes, Sr., and Kathy Madden and her husband Clifford Madden. Seven grandchildren, Kimberly Hock, Frederick Hughes Jr., Stephen Hughes III, Bryan Hughes, Nicholas Madden, Bethany Madden, Samuel Madden and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. 

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Friday from 4-7 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Freida's life will be held on Saturday, 9:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
