George Frederick Claes

On June 30, 2021, George Frederick Claes, beloved husband of the Dolores Claes; son to the late William and Lena Claes; devoted father to Barbara Mathew and her husband John, and predeceased William Claes; cherished grandfather to Sarah Claes and Christopher Claes.

George was an avid fisherman and crabber who loved being on the water. He was known for his handyman skills and was known to be able to fix anything. Known as Mr. George he was a friend to the whole neighborhood. He was a lifetime Dundalk resident and was well loved. He was married 71 years to his wife Dolores to which he was loving and devoted to. He was dedicated to his family and loved them very much. He will be missed by many. 

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Friday from 10-12AM. A funeral service celebrating George's life will be held Friday at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
