George John Hoody, a beloved brother and friend passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on January 19, 1954, in Maryland.

George was known for his infectious sense of humor and would immediately make you feel comfortable. He had a charm that made him easy to talk to. He shared countless laughs and good times with his lifelong and close friend Tommy Crowe.

George worked in sales for several different waterproofing companies for 35 yrs. George was honest and always tried to do the best job at the best prices for his customers. His explanations done in the form of drawings were so precise it looked like an architect had drawn them. His easy charm had won over many customers. George loved the Ravens and watching games with his friends.

George is survived by his sister, Sandra Hoody, and his brother, Eddie Hoody. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edward and Aline Hoody, and brother Tom Hoody.

He truly was a one-of-a-kind individual who will be missed deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
