It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of George G. Miller, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world on April 9, 2026. Born on December 22, 1947, in Maryland, George spent his life dedicated to his family. He was known to many as a selfless individual and considered an "Uncle" to all.
George was a devoted brother to John Miller (Sharon), Laura Ensinger (late William Ensinger) and Joseph Darchicourt (Joan). He leaves behind cherished memories with his nieces, nephews and extended family. His cherished late Uncle Charles preceded him in passing.
George had an encyclopedic knowledge of music, film, and automobiles. He also found joy in playing the drums in local bands. His love for running inspired him to participate in countless 5K, 8K, and 10K events. He also found great fulfillment in caring for his parents, the late George and Irma Miller, in their later years.
George was a dedicated lifetime communicant at St. George's and St. Matthew's Church of Dundalk, where he was an active member of the choir and the building maintenance team. He generously volunteered his time for various church activities, including caring for the church grounds and tending to the gardens, always going above and beyond to support his beloved church community.
A public viewing will take place at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Thursday April 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
In this time of mourning, the family invites all who knew George to gather, share stories, and celebrate the remarkable man he was.
In liew of flowers donations can be made in George's name to the United Way of Central Maryland. https://uwcm.org/
