With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we celebrate the life of Gloria Snyder, known affectionately as "Sis." Born on June 14, 1939, Gloria brought warmth, love, and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She peacefully passed away on September 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of cherished moments and a family that adored her.
Gloria was a devoted wife to Charles "Skip" Snyder Sr. and a caring mother to her sons Richard Collette, Steven Collette, and Charles Snyder Jr. She also embraced her role as a loving grandmother to Brent, Rachel, Cody, Haley, Sammy, and Lisa, and was the proud great-grandmother to Ariana. Her family was her greatest joy, and she often expressed how her loved ones made her life truly remarkable.
She thrived on experiences that connected her to those she loved. Gloria had a passion for travel, particularly enjoying cruising and exploring the beauty of the mountains. She also found solace in the pages of books and had a special place in her heart for country music, often filling her home with its joyful melodies.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Charles, her three sons, their wives Deborah, Pamela, and Kelly, and her beloved sister, Margaret "Peggy" Duncan. Together, they will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
In reflection of her incredible journey, we invite family and friends to join together for a celebration of Gloria's life at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk. There will be public viewings held on Wednesday September 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM, with a funeral service at 8:00 PM. Come share your memories, stories, and laughter as we honor the vibrant life of "Sis."
Gloria Snyder will always be remembered for the love she spread, the lives she touched, and the unforgettable adventures she cherished. May her spirit continue to inspire us all.
