Harvey Wayne
Wofford
November 7, 1971 – June 11, 2026
Harvey Wofford Jr. passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy defined by his passions, his sharp wit, and his devotion to his family.
A quintessential fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Harvey's Sundays were reserved for football. When he wasn't cheering for his team, he could be found following the high-speed world of NASCAR and Formula One. His love for competition extended into a lifelong passion for gaming; he bridged the gap between the classics and the modern era, spent hours mastering Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Tecmo Bowl, and Ninja Gaiden, and later immersed himself in the expansive worlds of Warhammer 40K and World of Warcraft.
For Harvey, the cinema was a second home. He was the ultimate authority on Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Underworld, and Tomb Raider. He never missed a premiere, and he was never seen in a theater without his signature giant bucket of popcorn.
Harvey was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Wofford Sr.; his mother, Francis Wofford; his oldest brother, Ricky White Sr.; and his niece, Crystal White.
He is survived by his brothers, Clarence White (Lisa), John Wofford, Brian Wofford, and Ricky White Jr. (Megan). He also leaves behind a devoted family of nieces and nephews: Victoria François, Robin Burks, Kaylin White, Sarah Wofford, Dawn White, April White, and Michael Grumbach.
Harvey's presence, his vast knowledge of the worlds he loved, and his steady spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU
