Helen Agnes Major

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Helen A. Major (nee Fitz) peacefully passed away. Helen was the devoted mother to Denise Noon, cherished grandmother to Elizabeth Noon, and loving sister to Anna Connelly, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her loving brothers Joseph, George, and Edward Fitz.

Born May 31, 1928, in Essex, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Fitz. Helen was a graduate of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the Saint Michael's Business schools. She worked in several factories and retired from Western Electric in 1985.

Helen loved to dance and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed her time on the beach and could sit for hours watching golf matches on TV. Helen was also a dog lover, often spotted giving belly rubs to her granddogs. She was patient, gentle, and kind. Helen will be deeply missed.

A service to celebrate Helen's life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Hope Church (chapel), 1727 Lynch Road, Baltimore, MD 21222.
