Henrietta Carder

Henrietta Wilhelmina Carder (nee) Byrnes passed away April 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Etta was born to James and Henrietta Byrnes on August 17, 1931. She graduated from Patterson High School Class of 1951.

She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family. She also loved going to the beach. Her and her husband Ed were members of American Legion Post 38 and she was employed by 1st National Bank.

She will be greatly missed by her sons Richard and Edward, daughter-in-laws Margie and Grace, grandchildren Melissa, Michelle, James, Evan and Shannon, and great-grandchildren Fern, Sunny, Lucky, Ellie, Kayden and Emmett. She is predeceased by her loving husband Edward, son James, brothers George and Edward.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a Public Viewing on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11:00 am followed by a Graveside Service at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt View Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104.

As we gather to celebrate Henrietta's life, may we remember the impact she had on all of us, and the lasting memories she leaves behind. Rest in peace, Henrietta, you will forever be in our hearts.
