James H. Harbaugh - A Life Celebrated and Remembered

James "Bunny" Harbaugh, a beloved Husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, and friend. James peacefully departed this world on January 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Bunny was a true do-it-yourselfer, always ready to tackle any project that came his way. His resourcefulness and handyman skills were unmatched. In his leisure time, James found solace in the simple joys of life. He had a particular fondness for Maryland steamed crabs. His love for the outdoors and Ravens football led him on countless camping adventures and spirited cookouts with family and friends. And let's not forget his famous homemade sassafras tea.

Family was at the center of James's heart, and he cherished the time spent with his late wives Margaret Harbaugh and Virgie Harbaugh, creating memories with his daughters, Linda Pavlovich and Brenda Franz, along with his beloved son-in-laws, Jerry Pavlovich and Brian Franz. His grandchildren, Jerry Pavlovich, Andrea Darpino, Christopher Franz, Amber Franz, and the late Eric Pavlovich brought immeasurable joy to his life.

James's vibrant presence will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on through his great-grandchildren, Vera, Riley, T.J., and Leo. His brother-in-law, Richard Schneider, and sister-in-law, Darlene Schneider, David, Steven, Debbie and Josh will forever cherish the bond they shared with him.

We invite friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by Bunny to join us in paying respects and celebrating his remarkable journey. A public visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 12 noon from the funeral home. Following the funeral service, Bunny will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road.

In celebration of James's life, let us remember his resilient spirit, his zest for life, and the profound impact he made on all those fortunate enough to cross his path. May his memory forever be a source of strength and inspiration to us all.
