James M. Pyles

James Michael Pyles (Jim), 61 years old, of Middle River Md, passed away at Ascent Care Hospice on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Jim was the son of Arlene E. Pyles (Cavey) and the late Robert F. Pyles, Sr.

Jim was born on January 4, 1962, in Baltimore City, Md. He loved to cook and play with all the kids. When Jimmy showed up, the kids knew it was fun time. He loved getting on the floor and playing games or marching around with all the kids following.

Jim is survived by his beloved mother, Arlene, cherished brothers and sisters; Timothy Smith and wife Donna, Robert Pyles and wife Kathy, Cheryl Johnson and husband Richard, Robert Pyles Jr, Melissa Robison and Rob, and sister-in-law Cindy Smith (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Kristi Farr, Melissa Shell, Chelene Smith, Alicia Borowski, Ami Robison, Heather Goetzke, Gary Manning and his wife Cindy, Brandon Pyles, many great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his cherished brothers Douglas Smith and David Smith.

Jim will be sorely missed by everyone he encountered. The family will celebrate his life in private.
