It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John R. Reynolds, who left us peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on April 28, 1949, in Maryland.

He spent 33 wonderful years teaching history and social studies in the Baltimore County Public School System, shaping the minds of countless young people. John was also a proud graduate of Patterson High School and the University of Baltimore.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Beate Reynolds (Damron). He leaves behind his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Judy, along with his cherished grandchildren Ruth, John, Raymond, and Tommy. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Karen Branan, brother-in-law Robert Branan, and his special "other sister," Judy Adler. John was predeceased by his sister Linda Rae Sauer and his loving parents, Naomi and Ray Reynolds.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave. Eastfield, MD 21224 on Monday June 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate John's incredible life.

He will be deeply missed, Rest in peace, John.
