Joseph C. Russo, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 30, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1957, to the late Anthony Sr. and Adeline "Lina" Russo.

Joe was a hardworking man, dedicating much of his life as a skilled carpenter. He was a devoted Ravens fan and loved classic rock music, especially Foreigner and Rush.

Joe's journey was not without its struggles. He celebrated 15 years of sobriety, a testament to his resilience and dedication to a better life, which he credited to his faith in God and the transformative experience of graduating from the Salvation Army Rehab Program. His strength and commitment to overcoming addiction inspired many, leaving a lasting legacy of hope for those around him.

He is survived by his loving brother, Anthony Russo Jr.; his son, Jason Russo, and daughter-in-law, Crystal Russo; and his cherished cousin, Tina Russo Ignatz. He also leaves behind his best friend, Lou Ringer, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Joe was welcomed into Heaven by his brother, Ronnie Russo and his son, Jesse Russo, who will forever hold a special place in his heart.

The Russo family will hold funeral services to honor Joe's life, inviting all who knew and loved him to gather in remembrance. A public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 3-7 PM with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM.

In this time of sorrow, let us celebrate the life of Joe Russo, whose spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those he touched. His journey brought laughter, love, and a sense of belonging to all who shared in it. May he rest in peace, embraced by the grace that he found in life.
