Joyce Boehnlein

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce A. Boehnlein, who passed on July 30, 2025, at the age of 81.

Joyce was a loving sister, dedicated cousin, and a cherished friend. She is survived by her brother Raymond Boehnlein, sister Elaine Sverjek, and cousin Pamela Farish, John Durkin, Anna Carr, Bernadine Farish along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were graced by her presence.

Predeceased by her beloved parents, Frank and Esther Boehnlein, as well as her brothers, Joe and Frank "Jackie" Boehnlein, Joyce leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love. Known for her sociable spirit, she was a true social butterfly who cherished moments spent at water aerobics, enjoyed lunch outings with her friends, gathered for Thursday card games, and adored her furry companion, Dexi.

As we remember Joyce and the joy she brought into our lives, we invite family and friends to join us in celebrating her life. A public viewing will take place at Our Lady of Hope on August 6, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a heartfelt Mass at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will be held afterward at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, where we will lay her to rest.

Joyce will be missed deeply, but her spirit will forever linger in our hearts. We look forward to gathering together to honor her memory and share our favorite stories about the wonderful woman she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
