Kadem "Beast" Matthew Hodge Sr.

Kadem "Beast” Matthew Hodge Sr. passed away on Monday, August 23rd from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident.

Kadem lived in Maryland most of his life, but he grew up in Carolina and brought the south up with him. More than his love for Carolina was the love Kadem had for his family. To Kadem family was more than blood and if he considered you family, he protected you. He took his responsibility as a father to heart, which was large and unselfish. Kadem was love, life, light, laughter, strength, hope, safety, and resilience. He gave his all in every aspect of his life and didn’t know how to hold back his heart.

Kadem was born on May 3, 1983 in Baltimore, MD to parents Cynthia Clark and Gilbert Terry Hodge. In addition to his dear parents he is survived by his beloved siblings; Michael Morris, Shannon Brown, Kristin Hardbarger, Jordan Foust, Harrison Foust, Kayla Riddle, Timothy Hodge, Joshua Hodge, and Jeremiah Hodge; his treasured son, Kadem Matthew Hodge Jr.; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and godson; as well as his many cherished friends and loved ones. Kadem was so loved, we cannot possibly name all those that love him by name, but thank you for loving Kadem and giving him the best life possible.

Memorial services for Kadem will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Saturday, August 28th 2021 from 2 PM – 6 PM, with funeral services from 6 PM- 7 PM.
