We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Karen L. Wolf, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and lifelong educator. Karen, born on March 19, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland, left us peacefully on April 20, 2026, at the age of 77.

For 52 years, Karen shared her life and days with her devoted husband, David Wolf. Together, they built a loving family including three daughters: Kelly Pinnell and her husband Marshall Pinnell, Cindy Wolf and her husband Ronan O'Riordan; and Tracy McCreary and husband Nathan McCreary. Beloved by her family, Karen was especially proud to be the Mum Mum of Landon, Reese, Maverick, Ryker, Hartley, Emmet, Walker, and Sorcha. She spent days sharing in their success, taught them how to be kind and they were the light of her life. She cherished her role in the lives of her family and friends, making every moment spent with them a celebration.

As a lifelong educator in Maryland, she found joy in helping to improve and create change to the education system for all children. She wanted nothing more than to make the world better for the next generation.

Whether big or small, Karen believed in celebrating every occasion, a testament to her generous spirit and love for family and friends. She was one of a kind, always making those around her feel like family.

To honor her memory and celebrate a life well-lived, family and friends will gather for a public viewing at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Sunday April 26, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm. The following day, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 10:00 am, with a graveside service to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore 21224. When the sun is shining and summer days have arrived a true celebration of life will be arranged and details shared in due course.
