Kathleen "Katie" Maroney

On the morning of June 14th Katie went home to be with her mother and father in heaven. She was survived by her loving husband Joshua. Her brother Mick Jr; and his loving girlfriend Kathy. Her niece Autumn. Her friend Tabi; and her husband William. Her friend Bruce. Her friend Harmony; and her mother Ginny. Her friend Kaitlin; and her mother Stephanie.

Katie was a highly skilled medical assistant who loved her job. Katie had two cats, Loki and Logan. She was an exceptional cat momma and treated them like her babies. They were her pride and joy! Katie enjoyed Marvel movies, the show FRIENDS and the Lord of The Rings franchise. Katie enjoyed her music. Most specifically the band Avenged Sevenfold. Katie also enjoyed traveling, driving to free her mind, shopping, the beach, Chick Fil-A and their sweet tea WITH NO ICE. 

She left us way too soon and will truly be missed by everyone who knew her. She was the best of us. Always and forever…#KatieStrong

Family will receive visitors at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on Saturday from 2-6 PM. A service celebrating Katie's life will be held at 5 PM Saturday. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation. This foundation helped Katie immensely throughout her battle with cancer”
