It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lester Franklin Jones, who left us on March 16, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on July 24, 1945, in Maryland.

Lester proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1969. After his time in the service, he embarked on a meaningful career as a lab technician at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He is survived by his beloved sister, Elsie Arthur, and her husband Joe, who will cherish the memories of their time together.

A memorial service to celebrate Lester's life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Baltimore, located in the BAC Auditorium at 2122 West Joppa Road, Lutherville, MD 21093.

Lester will be greatly missed, not only within his family but also by his friends and colleagues. His legacy of kindness and service will forever remain in our hearts.
