Marcus Cook

Marcus "Mark" Cook age 59, of Dundalk, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 27th, 2021. He was a devoted loving husband to Esther Cook, loving father to Tina Ervin and husband Nathan and Cindy Amedore'Estrada and husband Angel. He was the best Pop to his grandchildren Ashley Bonnell, Anthony Bonnell and his wife Christina, Karleigh Gill, Bryce Ervin, Trenton Ervin and Alyssa Ervin. He also adored his great grandchildren Kameron Bonnell, Abella Bonnell and Aason Bonnell. He was also a brother to Pattie McGehee and husband Mark , Deborah Smith and husband Ken. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Guy Cook Jr and Theodosia Svehla and his brother Guy Cook lll. 

 

Mark loved his wife and his family like no other. He was a hard worker who always put his family first. He enjoyed walking his dog Tootsie. Mark enjoyed playing pool with friends and family. He was a huge fan of the Ravens and the Orioles. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and making memories. But his absolute favorite thing was to be by his wife's side. He showed his family what true and unconditional love was. 

 

Mark was loved and respected by so many. He will continue to live on inside each person who held him close to their heart but will be missed dearly. 

 

Visitation with family will be offered on Wednesday, September 1st, 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk at 7110 Sollers Point Road. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
