Margaret Anne Malkus

On January 16, 2023, Margaret Anne Malkus passed away at the age of 81. Loving wife of David Malkus for over 58 1/2 years.  Margaret worked for the Baltimore County Police Department for 22+ years as a crossing guard. Margaret could usually be found in her garden, taking care of the numerous plants and rose bushes she had been growing for decades. Margaret devoted a lifetime of love for family and friends. She always showed support for her family, friends, her job and community. She was a woman filled with love and a woman who will always be loved.  Margaret enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors, from day trips to Blackwater Refuge to the beaches of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. 

Margaret is survived by her Husband David Malkus, her sister Barbara Jennings Her sister-in-law Diane Shelton and her husband Phillip Shelton Brother-in-Law Dennis Malkus and his wife Ellen Malkus,  Loved mother to Angela Leonard (Malkus) and her companion Donald Schafer, Darryl Malkus and his wife Barbara Malkus. Grandmother to Brianna Malkus. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins around the country and in her home state of Georgia.  I will always keep your memory in my heart until we are together again. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday January 22, 2023 from 1-5 PM at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk. 7110 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. A funeral will be held on Monday January 23, 2023 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. 10201 Bird River Road, Middle River, MD 21220
