Marguerite "Peggy" Mae Welk

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Marguerite Mae Welk (Peggy), age 83, of Dundalk, Maryland passed away on October 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Welk, loving mother of John Welk and his late wife Carolyn, Ed Welk, Carol McBrien and her husband George, and Barb Cooper and her husband Roger, grandmother of Michael Cooper, Jennifer Cooper, Kristen Huber, the late David McBrien, Justin Miller, Leah Keller and Lexi Welk, and great grandmother to Kalise, Sean, Justin, Brandon, Mason, Arya and Gavin. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edmund and Marguerite Henneke, and sister of Edmund Henneke and the late Louis Henneke. Peggy was a wonderful wife, mother and friend who opened her doors to anyone in need. She was a kind soul with a huge heart who always put the needs of others before her own. She was retired from where she worked for over 34 years as a Data Operator at Eugene & Eugene Associates. She loved her Ravens and spent every Sunday watching with her family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in Ocean City with her family watching the sunsets from the balcony. She will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the countless number of people whose lives she touched. She left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of many, and her impact will positively resonate for generations to come. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Peggy's life at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11 am. Service will begin at 11:30 am.
