In Loving Memory of Marilyn Madigan

Marilyn Madigan, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on June 17, 1938, in MD, Marilyn spent her entire life in the close-knit community of Dundalk, MD, where she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Marilyn's true joy in life resided in her roles as a mother and grandmother. She was the loving mother of Carl Madigan Jr., Mark Madigan Sr., Darlene King, and the late Glenn Madigan and Gary Madigan Sr., mother-in-law to Patricia Madigan, Lucinda Madigan, and Thomas King. Her love continued to grow as she embraced the arrival of her grandchildren, the late Joey Ford, Mark Madigan Jr., Jessica Quirk, Gary Madigan Jr., and Tyler King. In addition to her cherished grandchildren, Marilyn also loved her great-grandchildren, Austin, Trevor, Pailyn, Peyton, Paisley, Kayson, Kaiyen, and Karsyn.

Marilyn's vibrant spirit encompassed a wide range of interests and passions. She had a love for reading and would often be found immersed in the pages of her favorite novels and christian study guides . In her free time, she tended to her garden, finding solace and beauty in the blossoming flowers and flourishing greenery. Marilyn also deeply valued her faith, attending Mountain Christian Church and participating in enriching Bible studies. She also had numerous friendships, gathering with them for weekly outings.

To celebrate the remarkable life of Marilyn Madigan, funeral services have been scheduled. A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Connelly Funeral Home in Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. Dundalk, MD 21222. A funeral service, filled with memories and heartfelt tributes, will follow the next day, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the same location. Lastly, a graveside service will take place at Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Avenue, Parkville, MD 21234.

Marilyn will forever be remembered for her unwavering love and kind spirit. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed. May she find eternal peace in the arms of her heavenly father and the loved ones who have gone before her.
