Mary A. Carter

Mary Anna Carter (née Marino) passed peacefully at home with her family on Friday, September 16, 2022
Born June 29, 1935 in Baltimore, MD Mary is the daughter of Gasper & Sadie (née Di Stefano) Marino. She married Howard F. Carter Sr. On July 3, 1955, they had five children together.
She is survived by her children Connie Buleza & husband Mike, Howard F. Carter Jr. & wife Sherry, Thomas Carter & Barbara Bernard, Robin Barrickman & husband Eddie and Sharon Stewart & husband Ronnie, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by several sister & brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces & nephews as well as many friends.
She was pre-deceased by her former husband Howard F. Carter Sr., her loving companion of many years Homer E. McCreary, her parents, her sister Josephine Baskette and her good friend Ida Thomas.
Mary was a proud homemaker who held several jobs in her later years. She especially enjoyed her time at Levinson & Klein Furniture and as a gate guard down Bethlehem Steel where she made many life long friends.
Mary lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed dancing, bowling, gardening, hand held video games and a good book. She will be missed by all who knew her!

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service for Mary will be held on Friday 11am followed by a private graveside service at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
