Michael Joseph Reed

Michael Joseph Reed, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 33. Born on August 5, 1990, in Maryland, Michael brought immense joy to the lives of those around him.

Mike was a loving son to his parents, Charles and Susan Reed, who cherished him dearly. He shared a special bond with his brother James Reed and sister-in-law Allison Reed, and adored his niece Sophia and nephew Elliot. His presence brightened family gatherings, leaving lasting memories for all.

With his natural talent and passion for electronic fabricating, he embarked on a successful career in the industrial sector. He dedicated himself to his work as a fabricator at Integrated Circuit Solutions, where he played a vital role in building custom electrical units for renowned oil refineries and plants.

Outside of work, Mike found solace in the serenity of nature and often sought refuge in his favorite pastime of fishing. He would immerse himself in the tranquil waters of Texas, where he resided in Friendswood, just outside of Houston. His love for fishing was a testament to his unwavering appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

Michael formed deep and meaningful connections with those around him. He had a vast network of cousins, aunts, and uncles, who admired and loved him dearly. His grandmother, Nancy Donet, continues to cherish the memories they created together. Mike also had many close friends in Texas that really supported and helped him over the years; Vince Oddo, Sandra Turner, Perry Gonzales, Chandler and all his co-workers at ICS. 

In addition to his family, Michael leaves behind his faithful feline companion, Oscar, who brought him comfort and companionship. He also had a loving girlfriend, Anna Fischer, whom he adored and cherished.

To honor and celebrate Michael's life, a memorial service will be held at Jimmy's Famous Seafood, 6526 Holabird Avenue Baltimore, MD 21224 on Saturday, January 6th from 3-6:00 PM. Friends and family will gather to share their memories and pay their respects to a remarkable individual who touched so many lives.

Though Michael Joseph Reed may no longer be physically present with us, his spirit and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and remembered.
